Michael Fowler - Staff Accountant

Michael joined the firm in December of 2015. As Staff Accountant, Michael is responsible for preparing individual and business income tax returns, completing day-to-day bookkeeping for BOSS clients, preparing compilations and financial statements, performing tax research, preparing trust tax returns, consulting with individual income tax clients, and performing year-end tax planning for business clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked in public accounting for two years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Maryville University and is a QuickBooks Certified and Advanced Pro Advisor. He is also a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs. During his free time, Michael enjoys playing golf and competes in various regional and national amateur tournaments. He is a musician—playing both the piano and guitar, and is a St. Louis Blues, Cardinals, and Maryville University sports enthusiast.
